PHP is a widely-used scripting language that is suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML. The powerful features of a PHP shopping cart system support online catalogs and product pages that are customisable in various ways. Unlike other types of shopping carts, a PHP-based system is more robust and less error prone.

No PHP knowledge, however, is required to create your online stores.

The entire online ordering system can be installed on your server if the server meets some minimum requirements that are mostly standard on all Linux servers.

The easy-to-use web administration interfaces (see examples) alllows to quickly and easily apply settings which are then stored in the database and also as pre-compiled HTML pages on the server. These database-driven, dynamic catalogs and products are easier to maintain and update.

Search engine friendly pages
You can also generate static HTML pages out of the database-driven catalogs. This makes the pages search engine friendly. A google sitemap is automatically generated for these catalogs and pages.

Templates-driven catalogs and cart pages
The online store is entirely templates-driven. There are over 200 variations to choose from. You can also further customize them if desired. Therefore, virtually infinite combinations are possible for the catalogs, product and checkout pages. 

Marketing support for your products
The system provides automatic data feeds to Google, Altura and Shopzilla. 

Payment gateways
Processing the credit card online is quick and easy with over 40 payment gateways already built-in. You can also have offline processing of cards or the COD option, if so required.

Encourage more sales
You can specify a sale price - alongwith the saving - to increase the chances of a sale. The product setup section of the shopping cart administration lets you specify a sales price (see example) and can mark the item as 'Hot Deal'. You can also give out promotional codes, automatic volume discount, etc.

Companion products, reviews, discounts and other methods
Including product recommendation and other users' comments on the online catalogs and product descriptions will help sell an item quicker. The user comments are moderated and will not appear until you have reviewed and approved them.

One-page checkout for the payment desk
A lengthy checkout process is a major reason for the abandonment of carts. This can be avoided by a one-page checkout. The traditional checkout process is available as default.

Speed of web pages
An often overlooked problem is the speed of web page loading, including the catalogs, products and cart pages. A slow loading page often causes a potential buyer to abandon your site and go elsewhere. The online store you create with our software is optimised for quick loading of the pages at all stages of the ordering process.

Recurring billing
You can specify recurring billing to automatically bill the customer at set intervals until cancelled in writing. This feature is particularly useful in periodic debit situations such as subscriptions.

Reminders to order
The periodic reminder sends the customer an email to remind when an item (e.g. medicine) is to be ordered.
